A Principal and Office Manager with global firm Golder Associates’ Melbourne office, Ric Bland has more than 30 years of experience in the areas of Environmental Planning and Approvals, Natural Resources & the Environment and Environmental Compliance. Golder Associates specialises in ground engineering and environmental services to the land development, industrial, construction and mining sectors, all levels of government, the legal profession and private individuals.

Prior to joining Golder Associates, Ric worked as an environmental consultant in his own firm and prior to that in several Commonwealth and State Agencies. He has extensive experience of government processes at Commonwealth, State and local levels, including policy development, implementation and review. He has particular expertise in strategic planning on both public and private land, natural resources management issues (land use and zoning, land protection and forests) and environmental assessments (biodiversity, endangered species and communities, flora, fauna and cultural heritage).
