Professional Profile

Melody Stoneham has over 9 years experience as an environmental professional. She became a CEnvP in 2007 because she believes the program is an important step towards achieving and maintaining a high standard of environmental work in Australia.

As an environmental consultant, Melody has worked in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria with both government and private clients. Her project experience includes: residential development, master planning, ecotourism facilities, coastal development, establishment of conservation areas and rehabilitation programs, management of wetlands within the context of water sensitive urban design (WSUD), linear infrastructure (particularly road and rail), water infrastructure and desalination facilities. Melody participates in the assessment and management of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems. With a persistent drive to achieve benefits for her clients, the community and the environment; Melody’s project management philosophy is a collaborative approach which draws upon a combination of her own ecological foundations and excellence from across disciplines.

Melody has also developed an interest in marine ecosystems through involvement in several coastal projects and has attained an Open Water Diver qualification to augment her ecological skill base.
